The rotary vibrating screen is an efficient screening equipment.
Its main body is usually driven by a vertical motor as the
excitation source. Through the eccentric weights installed at the
upper and lower ends of the motor, the screen surface generates
three-dimensional vibrations in the horizontal, vertical and
inclined directions. The materials on the screen surface spread and
move in a spiral shape from the center to the periphery, thereby
achieving the classification and screening of materials of
different particle sizes. It features high screening accuracy,
large processing capacity, compact structure and good sealing
performance, and is widely used in the screening and filtration of
granular and powdered materials in industries such as chemical
engineering, food, medicine and mining.
Working principle
The core working principle of the rotary vibrating screen lies in
achieving material screening by utilizing the three-dimensional
vibration effect. The specific process is as follows:
Excitation source drive: With a vertical motor as the power core,
eccentric weights are respectively installed at the upper and lower
ends of the motor (the upper weight controls the horizontal
vibration, and the lower weight controls the vertical vibration).
Vibration mode generation: When the motor rotates, the eccentric
effect of the upper and lower weights causes the screen surface to
simultaneously generate compound vibrations in the horizontal,
vertical and inclined directions, forming a three-dimensional
elliptical motion trajectory.
Material movement path: After the material falls into the feeding
port at the center of the screen surface, it spreads in a spiral
shape from the center to the periphery under the effect of
vibration. Fine particles fall through the screen mesh, while
coarse particles are discharged along the edge of the screen
surface.
Screening accuracy adjustment: By adjusting the eccentricity Angle
of the weight hammer, the number of counterweight blocks or the
motor speed, the vibration amplitude and frequency can be changed,
thereby controlling the movement speed of the material on the
screen surface and the screening time, and achieving precise
classification of materials of different particle sizes.
